MY COURSES

The First 1000 Days Program is a Self-paced online learning program for Mums & Dads to learn about the microbiome during the first 1000 days period (conception to 2 years old) and to educate and empower parents to navigate the maternity healthcare system in Australia. It is an 8 module program with webinars & extra resources for each module

The intention of the program is to educate parents on the importance of the microbiome in the first 1000 days and how to optimize it to improve pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding & infant development outcomes.

MY RESPONSIBILITY

I have a Bachelor of Health Science Degree in Nutritional Medicine (graduated 2012)

8 years of clinical experience (2020)

5 Years experience as a Health Professional Educator in the Maternity Healthcare fields

The content provided in the program comes from extensive clinical experience and current evidence-based science, as well as attendance at Professional Conferences. Also learning and collaboration with other Experts in the Maternity Care Professions. Continued Practitioner Development hours are kept up to date, as are Professional Association memberships (ANTA).

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

It is expected that you will use the information in the program to guide your choices and decision making and that any individual decisions, treatments and /or options will be discussed either with me personally (in the private facebook group, or by private consultation) or with your otherwise qualified health professional.

Access is granted to the purchaser for the lifetime of the program.

Returns Policy

THE FIRST 1000 DAYS PROGRAM

I do not offer a refund to clients who change their mind after they have purchased the program.

If a client cancels a member-based contract payment stops immediately (cancel anytime policy) but will not be entitled to any refunds on unused services.

RESPECTFUL COMMUNICATION

In Membership sites and facebook groups (free and program groups) it is expected that people are kind and respectful. No rude or offensive comments will be tolerated and people will be removed form group.

Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution

JURISDICTION

Emma Park Nutritionist & The First 1000 Days Program base is located in Victoria, Australia. The agreement is subject to the governing law of Victoria.

NEGOTIATION

If you have any issue or complaint arising out of your use of this program, website or these terms and conditions, you and Emma Park Nutritionist agree to make a genuine effort to resolve the dispute through negotiation and discussion.

MEDIATION

If we are unable to resolve a dispute by negotiation and discussion within 14 days, the parties must proceed to mediation with the assistance of an accredited mediator who is independent of the parties. The mediator is to be appointed by agreement of the parties or, failing agreement within twenty-one (21) days of the first notification of the dispute, by a person appointed by the Chair of Resolution Institute, (ACN 008 651 232, Level 2, 13-15 Bridge Street, Sydney NSW 2000; telephone: 02 9251 3366, email: [email protected]) or the Chair’s designated representative. The Resolution Institute Mediation Rules shall apply to the mediation. We agree to share the costs of mediation equally between us

LITIGATION

It is a condition precedent to the right of either party to commence litigation other than for interlocutory relief that it has first offered to submit the dispute to mediation. Litigation is to be considered a last resort and may not be commenced until, in the opinion of the independent mediator, the potential for negotiation and mediation have been exhausted.
